Named after the renowned volcanic beach with a splendid view on Mount Fuji.
A beautiful deep black dial offering a striking contrast against the polished indices.
Meet the beating heart of the Antigua, the Landeron 248 caliber.
This Swiss Made mechanical chronograph movement has been completely rebuilt and improved to provide reliable and accurate performance.
From the moment Méraud was founded, we had the idea to launch a manual chronograph timepiece that would meet our standards for quality and affordability.
With the Landeron 248 caliber, we bring you the result of our unwavering commitment to excellence.
The careful overhaul and custom engraving of the movement bridge with our logo sets the Antigua apart, demonstrating our passion for timepieces and the appreciation for the details that make a difference.
It's truly something to cherish.
Discover the beautifully crafted double-layered dial of the Antigua, finished with a high gloss black color or a grainy cream base.
The Swiss Super-LumiNova® dots on the dial add a touch of vintage charm, contrasting playfully with the polished, angular dial indexes.
With the pastel colors used for the subdials, central second hand, and second counter, the Antigua's design is not only eye-catching but also pleasing to the eye with its soft and refined look.
The 45-minute "big-eye" subdial, radially grooved and with a double layer, adds a modern touch.
By positioning the tachymeter scale on a lower step, the dial gains extra depth while also paying homage to the racing heritage of chronographs.
Inspired by the Art Deco movement, the numerals of the minute-subdial and tachymeter feature a timeless font.
The Antigua dial isn't just any dial, it's a work of art that will set your timepiece apart from the crowd.
The Antigua was designed with the intention of preserving the design
language of the Méraud brand, starting with our inaugural model, the
Bonaire.
Our focus was on maintaining the chamfers, drilled lugholes,
and dodecagonal caseback that are synonymous with the Méraud aesthetic, while creating a case profile that fits the wrist elegantly.
We believe that we have achieved this balance, resulting in a timepiece that not only pays homage to our roots but also functions beautifully on the wrist.
It just works.
The Antigua chronograph is a true standout, with its vintage-inspired design and attention to detail.
Its wide, sharp, and polished hour and minute hands are complemented by a bold and refined orange "lollipop" seconds hand, while the double anti-reflective coating on both crystals adds depth to the movement and dial.
The lumed sapphire bezel insert, powered by Swiss SuperLuminova® adds to the vintage appeal of the Antigua.
With its domed crystal and drilled lugholes, this chronograph
is a true work of art in both style and functionality.
Experience the vintage charm of the Antigua for yourself.
We believe in delivering only the best, which is why we've teamed up with Molequin, the renowned strap and leather accessory supplier based in Brussels.
Michael and Sidney, the masterminds behind Molequin, are well-known for their exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Together, we've carefully selected the perfect leather type for the Antigua, offering it on their Taurillon Nubuck straps.
This partnership not only represents our commitment to quality, but also our friendship with Molequin.
We are proud to call them good friends and to be able to offer such a beautifully crafted product to our customers.
Our timepiece is named after one of the most renowned Classic Races world wide, the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta.
"The Antigua Classics is an amazingly broad church bringing together multi-million dollar vintage beauties varnished to mirror perfection with 1960s ocean racers and, at the other end of the scale, the Carriacou Sloops.
That’s the magic of it.
If you put only one international regatta on your bucket list, make it this one."
