Delivery & Shipping

What countries do you ship to?

We ship worldwide except for the following countries: Belarus, Cote d’Ivoire, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Liberia, Myanmar, North Korea, Russia, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine and Zimbabwe.

Do you offer free shipping?

We offer free International delivery starting from €50 of purchase.

What is the shipping policy?

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information. Shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of returns.

What are the delivery times and how do you ship?

We use all major carriers, which means your order will be shipped by either Fedex, DHL Express or UPS.

For products in stock we try to ship withing 3-5 working days after the order is placed.

Can I track my order?

Yes, all orders are shipped with a track and trace code. Depending on which carrier we're using you are able to track your order. If you would experience any problems with this, please get in touch so we can help you.

Do I have to pay taxes and duties upon delivery of my order?

In Belgium and the European Union, taxes and customs fees are included in the price of your order.

Outside the European Union, taxes and customs fees are not included. You may be subject to local duty/import taxes, if they apply.

These taxes will be claimed on behalf of local customs by our shipping carrier prior to delivery.

Unfortunately, we are unable to advise you of the amount of these charges in advance and advise you to contact the duty services in your country to obtain an estimated duty amount and the base rate of VAT.

If the taxes and customs fees are not paid, your order will be returned to us.

What should I do when I'm having a delivery issue?

For any delivery problem with your order, please contact us directly from our contact page.

We will make the necessary arrangements with the carrier and will do everything possible to ensure that your package arrives correctly at its destination.

International Warranty

What is covered under warranty?

Our warranty covers all manufacturing defects occurring during normal use, as described in the following conditions. We will replace free of charge any defective components due to a manufacturing error found by our workshop.

Please note that the warranty is not applicable in the following cases:

1. Theft, loss.

2. Wear and tear and normal aging of the watch (scratched glass, impact on the case...)

3. All types of damage to the entire watch (or part of it) resulting from improper handling or use, lack of maintenance, negligence, accident (drop, scratch, crush, broken glass, etc.), improper use of the watch or failure to follow the instructions provided by Méraud.

All types of damage indirectly related or consequential to normal wear and tear of the watch, such as non-functioning, defects or inaccuracies of the Méraud watch.

Straps and accessories:

With regard to bracelets and accessories, our warranty covers all manufacturing defects that appear during normal use, as described in the following conditions. We will replace (free of charge) a defective item due to a manufacturing error noticed by our workshop (aesthetic defect, stitching, damaged leather, scratched buckle...)

Please note that the warranty is not applicable in the following cases:

1. Theft, loss.

2. Wear and tear and normal aging of the article (discoloration of the leather, etc...)

3. All types of damage resulting from improper handling or use, negligence, accident (scratches, etc.), improper use of the item.

How long is the warranty valid?

The international warranty offered by Méraud is valid for a span of 2 years starting from the date of purchase.

Service & Repair

How often do you recommend having a maintenance service carried out?

Like any other precision instrument working 24/7 a watch should be serviced regularly to ensure that it runs perfectly.

We cannot say how often you should have your watch serviced as this depends on the model, the climate where you live and how you look after the watch yourself.

As a rule, a watch should be serviced every 6 to 8 years, depending on the conditions under which it is worn.

I would like to have my watch repaired / serviced?

When your watch needs a technical service or a repair, you can ship it to us. It will be taken care of by our service center or certified workshop.

The Méraud Antigua comes with a vintage Landeron 248, can it be serviced?

Yes, offcourse! We are producing 200 pieces but we have an extra stock of movements and parts in case your Antigua would need a service or a repair.

The service of the Antigua will be handled exclusively by Méraud and our own watchmaker who has experience with these movements.

I am vegan, are there any options available?

Yes, at Méraud, we understand the importance of ethical and sustainable choices. That's why we offer a tropic strap with our current model range, which is included for free, and a steel bracelet option is also available for purchase.

These options provide a choice for our customers who prefer to avoid animal products in their accessories. The leather strap can be replaced.

Returns & Exchanges

Can I return my order?

Upon receipt of your items, you have 14 days to reach out to us and initiate a return request. To do so, visit our contact page and send us a message with your order number.

Once your request is submitted and approved by our team, you will receive detailed instructions on how to send back your order.

The items being returned must be in their original packaging and unused. If the products show any signs of wear, we reserve the right to decline the return request.

Can I ask for an exchange?

Yes, you can exchange your order. The process for exchanging an order is the same as returning an item. You have 14 days from the date of receipt to request an exchange. In case the exchange leads to a difference in price, our team will reach out to you to settle the amount owed or process a partial refund.

To initiate an exchange, please follow the same steps outlined in our return policy.

How long until I receive my refund?

The time frame for receiving your refund is approximately 3 to 5 days after we receive your returned product.

Can I cancel my order?

We completely get it, we change our minds too! While we wish could, once an order is placed, we are unable to alter or cancel it at this time. We hope to have a cancellation window one day in the future.

Should the item(s) not work out, make sure to exchange for a preferred style or return for a refund. As a reminder, return shipping is free.
